1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the QR Menu platform (“Service”) provided by MenuHatch. By registering for or using the Service, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Our Service enables restaurants to create, customize, and share digital menus accessible via QR codes.

3. Translation Services

MenuHatch offers menu translation services within the platform. Translation fees are calculated and charged based on the number of characters translated, and full details are provided in your user account area.

Translations are performed using automated technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI). As a result, translations may sometimes contain errors or inaccuracies. We do our best to provide translations that are as accurate as possible, but by using this feature, you acknowledge and accept that translations are provided “as is” and may not always be accurate or reflect the intended meaning.

We strongly recommend users review all translations for accuracy before publishing. If you find errors in a translation, please let us know so we can review and correct them where possible. MenuHatch is not liable for any misunderstandings, errors, or losses resulting from translation inaccuracies.

4. User Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide complete and accurate information when registering for the Service.

5. Uploaded Content & Copyright

By uploading any menu, text, images, logos, or other content to the QR Menu Service, you guarantee that you either:

Are the original creator and sole copyright holder of such content, or
Have obtained all necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use, upload, and display the content, especially images, on our platform.

You may not upload, share, or post any content that infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any party.
If we receive a complaint or become aware that content violates copyright or other laws, we may remove it and/or terminate your account, without notice or liability.

6. Cooperation with Legal Authorities

By using this Service, you acknowledge and agree that if a suspected or alleged violation of Section 5 (Uploaded Content & Copyright) occurs, MenuHatch may be required to cooperate with law enforcement authorities, regulatory bodies, or legal representatives of third parties. This cooperation may include sharing information such as your account details, contact information, activity logs, and uploaded content if formally requested in connection with an investigation, legal proceeding, or valid court order.

7. Payments

All payments for premium features or services, including translation fees, are processed securely via Stripe.
You are responsible for providing up-to-date and accurate payment information.

8. Free Trial & Refund Policy

Free Trial: All new accounts are eligible for a %free_trail_period%-day free trial with full access to the Service.
Refunds: After the trial period, charges will apply and no refunds will be issued except as described in our Refund Policy. Please review the Refund Policy for information on rare exceptions.

9. Prohibited Conduct

No illegal, offensive, or defamatory content.
No fraudulent activities or misrepresentation.
No uploading of viruses, malware, or any harmful code.
No reverse-engineering or attempting to disrupt the Service.

10. Intellectual Property

The QR Menu Service, including all software, graphics, logos, and content (apart from user-uploaded content), is the property of MenuHatch and protected under copyright and related laws.

By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content solely for providing the Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is.” MenuHatch is not liable for damages, including lost profits or data, arising from use, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Termination

We may terminate your access for violating these terms, without notice or refund. You may cancel your subscription via account settings.

13. Severability

If any term is unenforceable, the remaining terms remain binding.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Dubai, UAE laws. Disputes will be resolved in Dubai courts.
